Steve Miller Band Concert!

So, Thursday night Joel and I had free tickets to go see the Steve Miller Band at Starlight. We were so excited to have a date. Jaime came over to babysit Lily for us, so we had everything all set and ready to go. As soon as we pulled out of our apartments it started to rain! We were both like oh great...flashback from 3 weeks ago when we were stuck in a huge thunder and lightening storm (at Starlight watching Chicago and the Doobie Brothers). WE ended leaving the Chicago concert early and were so sad. This time though we ended up sticking out the concert and managed to have an amazing time even though we were drenched the entire time. They put on a really great show. It actually stopped raining for awhile and then opened up and downpoured again as we were running frantically to find our car after the concert. It is not so easy to run in pouring rain with extremely wet jeans, flipflops and sweatshirts on. But, there was no way we were going to cut our date short b/c of a little bad weather! It was great and we made a great memory! Sorry there aren't any pictures, but I was afraid my camera would get waterlogged.
