Deanna Rose Farm

We decided to brave the steamy July heat and go to the Deanna Rose Farmstead last week with our friends Sarah and Lincoln. There were all kinds of animals and playgrounds and gardens. The kids did great considering it was 95 degrees, sunny, and humid. Lily especially loved the goats...she thought they were puppies! She was chasing them around the pen saying puppy puppy puppy! It was so funny that she wasn't scared of them at all. (I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing!) She was really impressed with the peacocks as well; she did not want to leave their cage. Lily and Lincoln loved running around in this little garden that had a bridge they could walk across and other fun kids' stuff that will probably enjoy a little later when they are older. We definitely need to take another trip to the farm when it is a little cooler, and when Joel and Aaron can come too!
