This morning Lily, Adelyn, and I made pumpkin shaped pancakes for halloween! We had so much fun together. Lily really loved the pumpkin shapes. Tonight we went to a few different trunk or treat festivities in Overland Park. Lily dressed up as a cowgirl and Adelyn was our little pumpkin. We also took Lily around our neighborhood when we got home and she was laughing the whole time. She loved looking at everyone's pumpkins glowing with candles and seeing all the other kids in their costumes too. She is such a joy to be around.

KC Pumpkin Patch

Last weekend we went to the KC pumpkin patch with the girls! We had a great time, but it was freezing! We were so glad Adelyn slept the whole time bundled up in her stroller, so she wasn't cold. There were so many fun things to do there and Lily had a blast. She has been asking almost every day since we've been there to go back to the pumpkin patch! She even got to pick out her very own pumpkin which we are going to carve tonight and bake the seeds for a yummy snack!

Louisburg Cider Festival

Last weekend we all went to the Louisburg Cider Festival. We had a great time walking around, listening to the country music, eating cider doughnuts, and trying to get some cute pictures of the girls. It is always a challenge to get everyone looking and/or smiling at the same time for a good picture! I posted some of our attempts...enjoy! I will post on our trip to the KC pumpkin patch today a little bit later!

Farm Party!

Saturday was the Scriptpro Farm Party for Joel's work. Lily had the best time riding the horses, jumping on the bungee cord trampoline, going down the big slide, and trying out the rock climbing wall. Adelyn was a champ all day just watching, sleeping, and eating. The front pack baby carrier is an essential baby item when you have more than one kid. We have definitely gotten our money's worth out of that one. We also went to the Louisburg Cider Festival on Sunday and I will post pictures from that tomorrow!

Lilyana's big girl bed!

Here are a few pictures of Lily and Adelyn hanging out in her new big girl bunkbeds! She loves her new bed and tells me "I want to get in my comfy bed" so cute! I will have to take more pictures of her room and Adelyn's rooms...our house is finally coming along. We are getting things put away and doing more decorating to make it feel more cozy and like home!
