Today before her nap, Lily decided she was going to take all the food and all the shelves out of her fridge in her play kitchen and proceed to climb inside. She told me she was hiding and then she would day bye bye and close the door! It was so funny I couldn't resist filming it!

Lilyana is really having fun taking care of her baby lately. She loves her new stroller that Lexi let her borrow and she pushes her baby around the block and at the park. It's really cute, but it makes me kind of sad that she is growing up so fast! She still lets me push her in the stroller sometimes, but she would usually rather walk or run. It is so fun watching her little personality develop.

This was so funny...so I thought Lily just mastered climbing up this path today, so I called Joel all excited to tell him that she could do it by herself, only to find out that he was teaching her how to do it last Saturday! It's still a fun video though so I posted it anyway. Lily's new thing has been adding a "y" to the end of her words. She now says whoa-y when she trips, or almost falls down, or if there is a loud noise and tubb-y for bathtime. She puts the emphasis on the eeee at the end. Lately she has also loved to point out the colors purple and pink wherever she sees them. Aunt Tara painted her toenails and fingernails pink the other day, so every so often she will show me her fingers and toes and say pink pink pink!

Farm Party!
Last Saturday was Joel's company picnic! Lilyana loved riding her first pony and even rode a big horse with mommy! She was saying "weee weeee weeee!" the whole time and she was petting the horse and saying "nice horsey" when I was riding with her. We had a really good time even though it rained two days before and it was extremely wet and muddy. Lily didn't mind one bit. A little rain didn't keep her from running around and having fun with her pink glowstick. We ate jack stack bbq and cookies. Lily fell fast asleep on the ride home which made it a little tricky to get all the mud cleaned up and change clothes to get into her crib. She didn't even open her eyes as I was wiping her down and changing her clothes she was so tuckered out! It was so cute! I think she was having a happy dream about riding the pony because she was just smiling with her eyes closed when I was changing her!

Lilyana loves her broccoli! It was so funny the other night during dinner she put all her little broccoli flowers on top of her pink cup and she would take them off one by one and eat them! It was so cute! (If you look closely, you can see all her broccoli on top of her cup!) She makes us laugh all the time with her funny little things

Labor Day Weekend!
We had a very busy and fun-filled Labor Day weekend! Amy and Jason came to visit us from Ohio! The weather was gorgeous, and we went to the Deanna Rose Farmstead to see the beautiful gardens, pet some farm animals, and play all day! The kids had a blast. Lexi rode in our car and the two girls had so much fun singing and playing in the backseat all the way there. (I have some video of this I will post later). Lily even had her first very own Popsicle! This was quite an experience...she grabbed ahold of it not by the stick, but by the middle of the popsicle! she would not stop licking it, and she had a little trouble sharing with mommy and daddy. needless to say, it melted quicker than she could eat it and she had red sticky juice all over her shirt, skirt, shoes, hands, legs, arms, and pretty much everywhere...even all over daddy. she had a great time, and attracted many giggles and stares from the crowd.
Lily just loves her cousins! she squeals with delight whenever they come running through the door and can't wait to hug them all. Austin always greets her with a big "Hi Lily!" and picks her up and hugs her. It is so precious to watch them together. She now can say all their names and points to them in pictures. The other day she was walking all around saying Lexi, Lexi, Lexi. actually it sounds like Yexi when she says it. Her favorite thing to do with them is dance to praise and worship music. She tells me na na na na na and rocks back and forth, then says dance and runs to the cd player. I missed getting some video, but you can check out tara's blog, b/c I am pretty sure she got some. It is soooo cute! I am so happy that we live near her cousins, it is pretty special. not to mention she has aunts and uncles and grandparents that love her so much. well, I better go, but check back for some new videos....
