Deanna Rose Farm

A couple weeks ago Lily and I went to the Deanna Rose Farm with our friends Sarah and Lincoln. It was so much fun! Lily and Lincoln especially loved the baby goats. Lily even got to feed some of them with a baby bottle! She thought this was the best thing ever. She also enjoyed the fish pond with the ducks and turtles. They played on the playground, in the sandbox, and rode little tractors around a track. We will definitely have to go back because we didn't get to see everything before it was time to leave for naps! I posted some pictures below

Joel Graduated!

May 2nd Joel graduated with his master's in counseling from Mid-America Nazarene University! I am so proud of him for all his hard work and dedication. He is on schedule to finish his internship at the end of June. He started his internship last May and has been working so hard to get 500 hours of counseling done all while continuing to work full time at Scriptpro and being a dad and husband. He has done such a great job and we can't wait for him to be completely done! Way to go Joel we love you!

35 weeks baby bump

Our New House!

I just wanted to post a couple pics of the house Joel and I just bought! We are so excited to finally get to move in. All the paperwork and inspections are done, so we close May 28th and finally get to move in and get everything set up. I have no words to express how excited and happy I am that we will have our new place all set up and ready for our little baby's arrival! We have decided on a name which we love...but you'll have to wait until she's born until we are sharing it (sorry!) We like it to be a surprise. I was measuring at about 35 weeks at my last appointment and everything looks great with the baby. She wiggles around so much it is hard for my doctor to pick up the heartbeat! We'll keep you all updated on our progress. Stay tuned for a post coming soon about Joel's graduation from his master's program with pictures!

Family Movie Night!

A couple weekends ago Joel had the idea of having our first ever family movie night! It was so much fun! Lily sat on her new couch she got for her birthday and we made popcorn, and Joel and I sat on either side of her. We watched Cinderella (one of my favorites!) We only made it to the part where the mice and birds are singing and making Cinderella's dress for the ball, but it was so fun for all of us to be cuddled up on the floor. Lilyana loved it. She kept getting up and saying "Hi mommy" and giving me a kiss and then going over to Joel and saying "Hi daddy" and giving him a kiss! (She did this about 10 times probably) It was the most precious thing. I love our little family so much and can't wait to add our second little girlie!
