I highly recommend "Super Baby Food" by Ruth Yaron if anyone is interested in making their own baby food. I used this book tirelessly while Lilyana was an infant. I probably checked it out from the library about 200 times during her first year....so Joel decided it would be a good investment and great help to get it for me for Christmas! He is so thoughtful! I just love this book because it breaks down each month starting at 6 months with the different foods that are safe and healthy for your baby at different ages. It also has all kinds of healthy recipes for toddlers and also projects and ideas that you can make/do with things you have around the house, including homeade cleaning products, toys, games, baby wipes, growing herbs, all kinds of things. I love it! If you're a mom of small children you should definitely check out this book! Lily and I made playdoh the other day together, so I included some pictures of that as well as some pictures of Adelyn's homeade avocado and bananas because I also wanted to recommend the baby food cube trays I have. They are made by fresh baby and you order them online at Amazon.com. I love them because they have lids that snap on to keep them fresh and they also pop out very easily after you freeze them. I just used plain old ice cube trays for all Lily's food cubes and it was always nearly impossible to get them out! Well, I hope you enjoy the pictures!
